Training Basic Reservoir Engineering 
Basic reservoir engineering is a branch of petroleum engineering that focuses on maximizing the economic recovery of oil and gas from subsurface porous rocks. Practitioners estimate how much hydrocarbon is trapped underground, predict production rates, and design recovery methods.
